Put this together with my 8-year old daughter. It works. Needed to start over on field coil twice, and armature once, though. Typo in instructions, part D, paragraph 6, "Hole #7" should read "Hole #6". Better to keep eye on final Diagram 10 to make sure you are putting it together correctly.
Needed a few adjustments in the end to get it to run smoothly. I recommend having a voltmeter ready to check the connections. Pretty cool to see it run.
