Digitally controlled ripple tanks have been around for some time, but ours is new in the sense that it is actually affordable! It works by combining a bright, 4 watt LED, a signal generator, and a precision agitator. The agitator and LED are both driven by the signal gnerator, meaning the LED strobes in perfect synchronization with the agitator, allowing extremely clear ripples to be shown.
